Pemberton Residence #2
2002 - 2003 - Austin, Texas
The redesign of an existing 1930's bungalow, that had interventions from both the early 1980's and 1990's. The program entailed the complete rehabilitation and reconfiguration of all the existing systems in the house, as well as the upgrading of all exterior and interior cladding and trim packages. Cherry cabinets, paneling and trim are highlights of the addition, and are featured in the complete Kitchen reconfiguration. Vermont slate, copper flashings and gutters, and Texas Hill Country limestone provide classic traditional permanency and charm. Landscape development included enclosing privacy walls, wrought iron gates and balcony, and planting upgrades.
