Classically inspired by Mediterranean influences, robustly clad in brick and stone with wrought iron counterpoint, and deftly detailed, this new orthodox synagogue seamlessly fits into an existing residential neighborhood. The congregation size dictated locating the main sanctuary one level below grade, where the men worship; the women worship from balconies that overlook the double-height sanctuary. The interior treatments include an extensive wrought iron railing and lighting package, and delicately detailed painted wood ceiling beams and trim.
